Every trail has a story. Ours comes with a guide.

Kananaskis Adventure Co. is the in-house guiding program at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. Certified local guides lead small, private groups on hikes and outdoor experiences across the valley — from an easy walk to a waterfall through to a full day on an alpine pass.

Everything is included. Your guide, transportation, food, and any gear you need. There is no route to research and no conditions to check, just bring yourself, your water and your sense of adventure.

And you don’t need to be staying with us. Our adventures are open to everyone in the valley.

Why Go Guided

You’re in good hands

Our guides are certified and know this valley in every season — the trails, the weather, the wildlife, and what to do when any of it changes.

Nothing to plan

Transportation, food and any gear you need are all included. Turn up and walk.

See what most people miss

The best places in Kananaskis aren’t always the obvious ones. Troll Falls is minutes from the Lodge and most visitors drive straight past it.

Built for every level

Easy, family-friendly trails through to full-day alpine routes. Tell us what you’re up for and we’ll match you to it.

Meet Your Guides

Our guides are the program. They are the reason a hike here is different from a hike anywhere else. Both guides are Apprentice Interpreters from the Canadian Rockies Interpretive Guide Association and certified in 3 season Group Management.
