Face Coverings
Please note that we require all hotel guests to wear masks in indoor public spaces. We highly recommend you bring a mask with you, however, if you do not have a mask we will provide you with one during check-in. Thank you in advance for helping create a safe environment for all guests and team members.
Kananaskis Nordic Spa
The spa will be closed on December 13, 2020 for 4 weeks as per Alberta Government regulations.
  • All reservations during that period will be cancelled, you will receive and email confirmation.
  • Please rebook online for your hydrotherapy and hotel package.
  • Hotel package guests will receive a new booking link.
  • Massage guests will be contacted directly to reschedule.

Indoor Waterpark
Our fitness area and waterpark facilities are closed as of December 13, with plans to re-open at a limited capacity on January 14, 2021.
Dining options
As per the new regulation set by the Government of Alberta, all in-dining experiences are closed. We will still be offering our In-Room Dining menu as well as a new menu to enjoy throughout the holidays.
Family Activities
Unfortunately, we had to cancel all Holiday activities as they would fall under the Alberta Government’s social gathering definitions.
What do you recommend to do in the area?
Explore the Kananaskis Valley! There are numerous amount of trails and stunning areas to enjoy. Be sure to visit Explore Kananaskis for a list of activities to discover. Follow safety guidelines, and please ready for everything from avalanches to wildlife encounters. Kananaskis Outfitters, located in the Village, is ready to help you find the perfect destination for your abilities. 
Fireside Moments
Fireside Moments has been closed until January 2021 as they would fall under the Alberta Government’s social gathering definitions.
Reservation Policy
Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to your arrival if your booking is from Dec 24th to Jan 2nd.* 
Outside this period, no cancellation fees are required up to 24 hours prior to your stay if you booked through, in person, through the Global Reservations Marriott team or through our In-House Reservations team.*
*Please note, if you booked with any company that is not through Marriott you must cancel your reservation through them (e.g. Expedia,, etc.).
